Iwas seriously hesitant to watch Leone's Once Upon a Time in America, almost exclusively because I had read that multiple rape scenes occur throughout the film.After watching a Sopranos episode with a too-much, look-away rape scene that almost ruined the series for me, I became uncomfortable with any work of media where rape is portrayed.
